Spray Technologies

Most spray nozzle designs fall into three primary categories: flat fan, full cone, and hollow cone nozzles. Engineers tasked with selecting a nozzle for a specific application should be well-versed in these types to make an informed choice that aligns with their particular needs. However, if there's any uncertainty or additional guidance is needed, we at Kuagiza are more than ready to help. Feel free to reach out for assistance, and we'll be delighted to provide the support you require.

Flat Fan Nozzles

Flat Fan Nozzles

Typically, flat fan nozzles operate based on the pressure principle design, where liquid is fed under pressure into a chamber and then expelled through an orifice. The specific spray patterns, flow rates, and spray angles are a result of the precise design of the pressure chamber and the orifice profile. Additionally, some flat fan nozzles utilize the deflection design, where the liquid is directed to deflect off a specially engineered surface to create the desired spray effect.

Full Cone Nozzles

Full cone nozzle

Full cone or solid cone spray pattern nozzles are popular for cooling applications but are diverse and can be adapted for all kinds of uses. We offer a variety of spray angles from 30° to 120° manufactured in brass, stainless steel and some plastics (depending on the nozzle). They are available in various thread sizes, flange fittings and tip arrangements.

Hollow Cone Nozzles

Hollow Cone Nozzles

These nozzles, often known as tangential nozzles, operate on a unique principle where liquid enters the nozzle chamber at a right angle. This action creates centrifugal force, concentrating the droplets along the outer edge of the cone. This process results in the formation of a hollow cone spray pattern, a distinctive feature of these tangential nozzles.

Atomiser Nozzles

Atomiser Nozzles

Certain industrial operations necessitate a fine mist that cannot always be produced solely by hydraulic nozzles, particularly in scenarios where the necessary high pressure is not accessible. Atomizers are employed in a variety of contexts, including coating processes, humidification systems, disinfection/sanitizing procedures, and dust suppression, among others, to meet these specific needs.
